Help me give my students new headphones and classroom materials such as easel paper, paper, pencils, a hole punch and more in order to be successful learners both in and out of the school environment.
My students come from a variety of backgrounds. Many have more responsibilities at home than the average adult (taking care of siblings, feeding, working, etc). Our school is 100% free breakfast and lunch. However, most want to come to school to be normal teenagers, ones who can be safe, learn, live and laugh!
My goal is to provide my students with the necessary equipment and materials they will need to be successful learners.
My students and I are a true family and I want to provide them with a family friendly feel. Please help me to provide them with some modern classroom tools so they can focus on gaining their credits and move on to the next grade level.
My Project
Students will be able to utilize technology and I will be able to individualize lessons because the headphones will enable the students to listen to and watch videos from research based intervention programs.
The regular classroom supplies such as dry erase markers, easel paper, pencils, a hole punch, looseleaf paper and more will enable the students to travel in a "station like" set up where they circulate throughout various groups based on their strengths and weaknesses in the literacy curriculum.
These basic materials will allow the students to be successful while they are note-taking, charting their ideas, and recreating characters from the novels and stories we read.
