Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach at a Title I school in San Diego where all one thousand plus students receive free breakfast and lunch. My students are fun-loving kids who strive to do their best and make a change to better their lives! All of my students are from a low, socioeconomic neighborhood and many with parents who work two jobs to support their children.

However, my school holds our students to rigorous standards as we know that they are fully competent to reach them with the correct scaffolds, supports, and accommodations.

My goal is to improve the academic status of each child that enters my room!

My Project

Educators are scrambling to create educational lessons and projects for their students to learn even when they are quarantined to their homes. Technology is going to play a vital role in most of this "distant learning."

An iPad Pro would help make dynamic educational videos and pertinent presentations allowing my students to continue learning.

This device can also be used as an interactive whiteboard for students to learn virtually from their computers, phones, tablets, etcetera.

Please help equip my students with educational learning experiences immediately so we can try to minimalize the negative effects of missing so much time from school.
