This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My first grade classroom is full of sweet and eager learners!

Despite the challenges they may face at home, each student comes to school excited to dive into reading, writing, math, science and social studies.

Every child in my classroom knows that they are in a safe and loving environment where they can grow as both a student and world-citizen. The sky is the limit of what they can do. I can't wait to see how far they will go!

My Project

Technology is an essential part of living and learning in our society. For this reason, I am wanting to provide my students with new headphones for their iPads and Boogie Board Electronic Writing Tablets.

Technology in the classroom can offer so many opportunities for student success.

We are blessed to have 1:1 iPads in my first grade classroom. My students use their iPads daily to read and listen to E-Books, watch educational videos, and practice math and ELA skills using their iPads. The headphones I have requested in this project will help my students continue to use their iPads as they learn. In addition to student iPads, I am wanting to incorporate Boogie Board Electronic Writing Tablets. These tables will give students a new and exciting way to practice writing during small group instruction.

I truly believe that these materials will give my students an exciting way to engage in learning. Thank you for your contribution to student success.
