This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second-grade class is full of students that love working together and are eager and ready to learn. Unfortunately, the technology in my class needs to improve in quality and reliability. My current projector, screen, and document camera need to be updated to keep up with our work. With a new projector, I won't have to spend time fiddling with the focus and light buttons every time something new is projected. A new projector screen will be an upgrade to the whiteboard that I currently use as a screen and one with a terrible glare. The pointer will save precious class time as I will not have to run to my computer to click on the next slide during a lesson presentation. Finally, with the document camera, my students can follow my every move during the "I do" and "we do" portions of the lessons.

With these new tools, my students will be set to focus fully on learning.
