My Students
Most of my class this year is below grade level. Most of them come from a low socioeconomic background. The experiences they have of the outside world come from the classroom. Most students do not have access to appropriate materials at home.
New materials to use in the classroom will excite my students into a learning frenzy.
My kids love to have fun while learning! They learn better when information is reviewed and presented to them in a technological way, such as a music video or video game.
My Project
All of my students need to use headphones, not just some, especially when I need the room quiet for a testing setting. The headphones I chose look very comfortable to wear for long periods of time, which is essential during the testing periods of the year and for Centers time.
My students are in dire need of working headphones.
The ones we currently use are a few years old and have worn out their welcome. They no longer produce sound when plugged into the Chromebook. More and more stop working everyday. I have about twenty students in the classroom and only about seven or eight working headphones.
