My students are very eager to learn. They want to use technology to help guide them. Paper and pencils are a thing of the past and they want to use technology to help expand their knowledge and higher their cognitive ability.
My students are hard working, independent, amazing students that are constantly in need of furthering their education.
The students in my classroom are always looking to better themselves and are always involved in their educational endeavors. The type of school they attend is one that strives on always reaching for the higher goal. The technology is one of the last in the county and state and gaining more technology in the classroom will only help bring the students closer to education then before. Technology means great things for each of my students. It is the ability to differentiate the learning so that each student can learn in their own way easier. This will make for a better well rounded student.
My Project
These resources that will be provided for the students will change everything about the way they learn. Education can happen at a much faster pace, they will be able to learn in a more abstract way, and I will be able to differentiate the learning so each student will be able to learn.
The students will be able to do more then just one activity! They will be able to work the whole class with the computers. I will be able to put all my work on our network and they will be able to use the netbooks and create a paperless classroom. Because my students will be able to use these computers they will be able to learn at more of a rapid pace and be able to get more accomplished.

Because our technology at our school is outdated we will be able to use technology that is up-to-date and relevant to the students. The Bill and Melinda Gates foundation will be proud because this will impact the students not only in my classroom by they will be able to take the skills that they learn in and use them in their future, especially when they get to college and beyond!
