This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Can you remember a time when going to the computer lab was something you look forward to? I remember my time, sharing my findings with my neighbor and my teacher. It was an enjoyable and memorable, something I wish to pass onto my students.

My students are hands-on and excited to take on the year using technology in science and social studies.

Exposing students to the technology world provides an opportunity to experience the same feeling that I have. These students are role models in the community and always willing to go the extra mile. I've seen it throughout all grade levels from kindergarten to 5th grade, each grade level sharing their knowledge to younger grade levels.

Given the opportunity to push themselves farther, I believe that giving them technology to use in the classroom will enhance their education in a unique way.

My Project

AlL students crave the latest technology. They understand how to use tools such as tablets to keep up with the latest internet trend or game. They understand how to navigate through the internet to view the latest video.

What if we can use tablets for more than just fun and games?

This generation is developing faster every year and technology has a big part in this growth. Having tablets on hand for small group work will allow students to use technology as a tool instead of just for fun and games. Learning will truly be in the hands of the students with the materials.
