My Students

My classroom consists of 20 little learners who come from diverse backgrounds. I teach in a low economic district where the kids absolutely love to come to school and learn.

I am a co-teaching classroom with special education students who work extremely hard every single day.

Each year, the students come into my classroom with the biggest smiles, which makes me want to make each day extra special and provide them with learning tools to make learning easy and fun. Students love working together, and I love to promote that in my classroom.

My Project

My students will have access to the internet from their desks at all times. The computer will be used year after year in the classroom to research and complete grade-appropriate projects and activities. My students will be able to practice basic computer skills and work their way up to being able to type and complete activities. Students will be able to share this laptop and use it any time they need.

Most of my students do not have access to a computer at home, so being able to give them tools in the classroom to support learning while having fun, is an amazing way to allow them to incorporate technology in their day-to-day life.
