The students at my Title I school are eager kids who want to show the world their music abilities. They come to music class ready to dance, sing, and learn whatever musical element I want them to know.
My students love music and love to share with me their favorite experiences in music.
I want to offer a music room where the students won't need to worry about not having what they need to learn.
I teach at a Title I school where all of the children receive free breakfast and free lunch. There are many students at my school who receive backpacks of food to take home over the weekend, and we also have a food pantry at our school to benefit our families once a month. Even with all the challenges that the students experience, the students come to music class eager to learn!
My Project
The iPads that I am requesting for this project will be used in a center learning activity for students to be able to explore music. The students will be able to look at different genres of music, explore how music is created and how music has evolved.
I will be able to download different apps on the iPad that will help the students create and compose music of their own and explore the music in their world.
Students will be able to work together to create and listen to the wonderful music that surrounds us every day. My students will be a better understanding and appreciation of music.
