My Students

How many times have you gone on Google to find the answer to that burning question? How many times have you used Word or PowerPoint to create a project to impress your boss? My students need access to technology in the classroom, so that they can learn important skills for their future!

My students are an amazing group of 2nd and 3rd graders who love to learn!

My students come from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Because there are two grades in my classroom, there is a large range of learning levels and a variety of academic and emotional needs.

My Project

Our class will utilize the laptops daily for a variety of educational activities. Students will use the laptops to practice math and reading skills through educational games. They will use the laptops to research and create reports and presentations using the Internet, word processing, and slideshow software. Furthermore, the regular use of the computers will allow the students to improve their fine motor skills and their mastery of typing and different types of software.

Right now my students have no access to technology on a daily basis in the classroom.

With your gracious donation of two laptops, my students will be provided with a plethora of opportunities to improve both their academic and technological understanding. The laptops will give my students the skills necessary to be successful in the 21st century!
