My Students

We are a fourth grade class in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) school. Our students come from various ethnic and economic backgrounds, and include all sorts of different learning types and abilities.

We strive daily to push ourselves, our minds, and our imaginations to their limits!

Our resources are limited, but our students love to explore and understand the world around them, and they are eager to make the very most of themselves to blast ahead to success!

My Project

These materials will enhance our student's learning in powerful ways. Our Ozobots, Sphero SPRK+, and Micro:bit will help us learn how to code and program computers, and the PocketLab will help us learn how to measure and record data as we learn all about the things we build, and the world around us.

Kids are natural explorers, and this project is devised to capitalize on that curious nature.

We can't wait to get our hands on these tools that will awaken areas of our brains that haven't yet been tapped. The games, books, and activities here will help us blossom into awesome, productive students of life!

This project also includes some other odds and ends to enhance our classroom, like plastic storage containers for all these materials, half a dozen games that are geared toward teaching kids logic and coding, some 3D printing filament, a hacksaw set and wooden dowels for our makerspace, an iPad case, and a small DC motor and multimeter to be a part of a wind tunnel.

We've got a lot of ideas for great activities!
