My Students

My kiddos are the best! They are so deserving of wonderful and great things. I am fortunate enough to work with a diverse group of 7th-8th grade students who really enjoy technology.

There are several online programs that I have had students pilot, but we do not have enough technology to go around.

They currently participate in a Math Lab class that helps to differentiate and assist students with math. These iPads would allow my students to engage in their work and to have access to math programs that would increase their mathematical understanding.

My Project

The use of these iPads will provide "tech support" for students who are in need of additional math assistance. They will allow students to have access to math programs that are only available on iPads and apps that will allow for a more personalized learning program. These programs will help students who are far behind in math skills and students who just need extra practice to become successful. For some of these students, it may be the first time they ever find success in math. While I am only asking for 2 iPads, this class and future ones will need these and more to really get our program going.
