My Students

Although our school year has not begun yet, I have known my students since they were in Kindergarten. They are hardworking, smart children that I know will succeed spectacularly this year. I believe all students deserve to have every opportunity possible to ensure their academic success. An important contributing factor to their success is our school’s free lunch program which provides 100% of the students at least one nutritious meal a day. Considering the sad fact that a portion of our students qualify as homeless, our school is committed to supporting this program year-round.

My Project

In today’s technologically-driven world, the education system needs to ensure students have an age-appropriate understanding of how to use technology. The use of Google Chromebooks and Google classroom are important elements of innovative and engaging lessons in all subject areas.

Students are engaged and enthusiastic about their learning.

Google classroom offers students the chance to practice skills taught in class and provides opportunities for critical thinking activities in all content areas. Utilizing these wonderful resources helps students develop their technological literacy, participate in stimulating learning opportunities, and lay a solid foundation that will lead to greater success in school and life.
