Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Part of being ready for college and beyond is being able to create original work, revisit and revise that work and present it to others.
A snapshot of our middle school shows a diverse high-need school comprised of about 1,100 students in grades six to eight.
Half of our student population receives free or reduced priced lunch. Approximately half of our students receive support services in addition to their core classes. Many of our students are not native English speakers. Many of the students are still rebuilding from Hurricane Sandy.
My Project
My students need these USB drives to save their work so they can edit and revise as they learn. The children need to be able to take their work with them from classroom to classroom and from home to school but many do not have their own USB ports. The wireless mouse and keyboard set I am requesting will help the students as they present their work to the rest of the class. I also asked for the batteries for the wireless mouse so we can start to use your gifts right away.
Thumb drives, USB ports, flash drives, memory sticks...call them what you will, we need them to save our school work.
Please help us save and present our work by donating to our project.
