Help me give my students 6 Kindle Fire tablets they can use in math and language arts instruction. These will allow students to practice math and literacy skills they've previously learned, in a fun and engaging manner.
I love all 23 of my inquisitive little first graders! They truly put the joy into being a teacher. I love to see their excited little faces when I'm teaching something new! I have a range of academic needs in my classroom which is why I have to be creative in my lesson planning. It is essential that I provide a differentiated and hands-on approach to learning throughout the school day. Seeing the excitement in their eyes when they are learning in a way that is fun and engaging, makes it all worthwhile!
My Project
This project will help to create more tech-savvy first graders! Having 6 Kindle Fire tablets in a learning center in my classroom will provide a fun and engaging means of learning math and literacy skills. There are so many excellent literacy and math related apps which will reinforce the skills taught in these subject areas.
Students love technology and trying new things!
