My Students

I teach special education at a Title I school in NV. Our school has a one hundred percent free and reduced-price lunch rate in Nevada's primary autism classroom. My students range from kindergarten through second grade.

Just as the autism spectrum is varied, so are my students' abilities.

Some students have subtle motor control issues, while others are technology gurus. My school​ district and school are very diverse, and we work to meet those diverse learners' needs.

We rock the spectrum!

My Project

The last two years have changed how education looks; mostly through the use of technology even in a Special Education classroom. We use our Chromebooks daily for online learning and testing.

Our Chromebooks are consistently traveling from home to school and our learners need new chargers.

We need some new chargers for our Chromebooks because this traveling back and forth is hard on our technology. Many of my parents can't afford to pay for new charger to keep the technology usable.

This is my way of helping parents out.
