This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach a diverse group of creative kindergarten students. They are all vibrant and brilliant scholars who thrive in our modern day technology world. By donating one Samsung Galaxy tablet, you will allow my students to continue to thrive in this society that we live in

My students come from various backgrounds.

Many of my students travel from year to year, place to place due to military orders. Many of my students lack the enthusiasm of learning and reading. They are all very smart and sweet but need an extra incentive to reach their academic potential this year. By adding one Samsung Galaxy Tablet to our class will help with lack of enthusiasm during reading time.

My Project

My students will use one Samsung Galaxy tablet during small groups reading time, during math centers, and during Fun Friday enrichment times. My students will become independent readers and higher order thinking students with the help of these digital aides

My project will impact the lives of many students.

I teach kindergarten so I will be setting the standard for the attitude and outlook most students have on their academic futures. Teaching students to read, count, and become independent learners and thinkers is the greatest gift I can give. Being able to shape lifelong readers an did pendent thinkers will hopefully help our society one day. I'm not teaching for today, I am teaching for the future.
