I teach 18 little stars with bright futures that will shine brighter with your help. My students have curious minds and the biggest hearts you could imagine. We are a Title I school. The majority of our students receive free or reduced lunch.
My students are eager learners.
They come to school ready to take on challenges and learn something new. They truly have a “can-do” attitude. Their attitude is a direct reflection in the classroom. I love that they are becoming lifelong learners.
In today's society, it has become almost essential that technology use is a must in our day-to-day lives. I believe that it is critical that we equip young children now with technology at this stage in their development.
I want to provide the use of technology as a way to open up children's view of a world they may not otherwise be exposed to.
Having iPads in the classroom can ignite creativity, exploration, and innovation with these young minds. Students will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful activities in a constructive way.
These students come from backgrounds where access to technology is rare, if at all. Having iPads will allow them to engage in every subject recording, observing, creating, and exploring in the classroom. Let's put the T back in STEM to use and give these young minds a view of the world through technology!
