My students are awesome! I teach seventh, and eighth grade students in both special education and regular education. My main subject is ELA, and I teach both resource special education and inclusion. I have an AWESOME group of young adults!
Our school district in Louisiana suffered a catastrophic flood in 2016 on what would have been our seventh day of school.
Our students are beginning to get back into our homes and our school is slowly rebuilding. Our preferred supplies for classes have not been replenished and will not be for a few years.
I would love to add an interactive whiteboard system into my classroom. My students love using technology, and this would be a cool addition! They love "being the teacher" and running the show and this would be another element which would give them life skills to use in the real world through presenting, technology use, and problem solving.
Adding a Mimio to our classroom will help bring more technology into our everyday learning experiences. An interactive whiteboard is a great way to incorporate something new into our routine. I can learn how to use it alongside them, which helps them see that we can always learn something new! My students love using technology and being able to run the show at the board.
Our students' learning is driven by technology!
An interactive whiteboard will help us learn how to solve problems, troubleshoot when necessary, and work together to accomplish new goals. Our classroom is small, so a Mimio is perfect for a smaller space. Help us discover new ways to learn in our classroom with a new Mimio interactive whiteboard system!
