Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I will be teaching energetic 3 and 4 year old students who will be getting introduced to the educational environment for the first time. Some are going to be scared, while other will be enthusiastic to learn.

My students will have to learn not only their ABCs, Numbers, Shapes and Colors, but also how to navigate technology that will help them be successful throughout the year and years to come.

They will learn to be courteous and cooperative with others.

My Project

By using Fire HD tablets my students will have easy access to learning apps and age appropriate books. Students will learn how to navigate technology they will use throughout their school years. They will have the opportunity to learn about people, places and things that they would not encounter in their normal everyday life, through websites that will take them on a journeys throughout the world.

Through technology students will be able to go on virtual field trips and see places and animals right in our classroom.

They will be engaged through age appropriate websites that will help them experience things in a safe controlled environment of learning.

Students will also be able to take pictures of their work to share with their parents at home, and show proof of their learning.
