My Students

My students come from various economic backgrounds ranging from technology rich to very little/no technology at home. I want to provide as much technology as possible to get every student ready for future events.

My students love learning about new topics in Math and Science through hands on activities/experiments and by using technology.

Watching videos of new topics gets the students hooked into learning more about the subject at hand.

They would run (if I let them) to get a laptop or tablet because there wasn't enough for every student to use them at the same time. I love seeing them excited to learn about different and new topics of Math and Science. I want them to be able to be excited at the same time, instead of waiting their turn.

My Project

The students will be able to get hooked into the new Math and Science topics faster through using more technology purchased in this project. They will be able to watch videos from BrainPop Jr and National Geography for Kids, play practice games from Prodigy and Imagine Math and create displays of their learning using Google slides and/or docs. Also, they will be able to communicate with me and each other through Google Classroom.

The wave of the future is coming in fast, I would like to see my students catch the wave, and ride it out until the end, instead of waiting on the beach.
