My Students

My class is full of eager and enthusiastic kindergarteners who are learning how to read. They love to listen to stories, do math, sing songs, learn letters, learn words and play. This is their first time in school and they are trying to be successful despite of the global pandemic.

My Project

These computers will help students have a technology center in order to engage in learning apps and programs that are going to help them with their math and literacy skills. The technology will help them stay engaged and gain many new skills such as decoding, blending, sight word practice, and comprehension. The learning apps will also help them develop number sense.

This is their first year in school and most students missed preschool due to the pandemic.

They need ample opportunities to practice basic foundational skills in order to become proficient readers and mathematicians. These computers will allow them to learn the skills at their own pace.
