My Students

Welcome to our 6th-grade science classroom! It's an inclusive community filled inquiry, exploration, and rich hands-on activities. Consisting of diverse, general education and special education learners from all five boroughs of NYC, my students are inquisitive, hardworking and dedicated.

Science class in middle school is a unique and exciting opportunity to create an authentic, life-long love for science.

We hope to create, with your help, a classroom where students will get access to materials that provide support, enrichment and create memorable experiences and lessons that will last a lifetime.

My Project

Technology is not only an essential part of the education process but one that can enrich learning in a myriad of ways.

With access to laptops, we can begin bridging the technological divide that exists in NYC public schools, and subsequently, deepen science learning with online simulations, virtual dissections, stop motion animation, and much more!

Access to technology in the classroom also enables me to cultivate a culture of digital literacy and safety. In a world of conflicting information on topics ranging from climate change to the spread of disease, learning how to engage and think critically about the information on the internet (while being safe and cautious) is an essential part of the education process.
