My children come from a small town with a diverse population and low median income. They have huge imaginations but a limited amount of resources. Each of my children come to me very eager to learn. The use of technology in today’s society is very important and a lot of my students do not have the opportunity to work with technology outside of a school setting. With that being said our school does not have an adequate amount of technology available to help facilitate what the students need to be successful. This gives each child an equal learning opportunity and makes learning exciting and engaging.
"Every child is a different kind of flower.
All together they make this world a beautiful garden."
My Project
Students need to have access to different forms of technology.
Think about what two iPads can do for a roomful of students who don't currently have access to one.
With these iPads, students will access SeeSaw to maintain their online journals. They will be able to videotape themselves reading to help them become better readers. There are many apps that are available for Ipads that they will now have access. There are some students who work better with a tablet than with a Chromebook. Technology is the way of the future and I need to keep my classroom up-to-date with the current tech trends.
