This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"I've learned that it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular. So start enjoying those little things in life--it does make a difference." Anonymous. One iPad and Osmo system are small but may make a big impact to our classroom.

My students attend a Title 1 School.

Over 50% of the students are on the free or reduced breakfast and lunch program. The majority are English Language Learners that need an abundant amount of time reading orally and speaking in class to improve their English language skills. My 4th grade students are always enthusiastic when they are able to use technology and having an iPad in the classroom would greatly motivate them plus spark their curiosity and contribute to their new learning.

My Project

"Osmo’s groundbreaking system fosters social intelligence and creative thinking by opening up the iPad to the endless possibilities of physical play." I would like my students to be able to share one device and work together. The iPad Air and Osmo system is geared for this propose.

Adding something brand new to the classroom reenergizes the students and myself.

I would like my students to crave coming to class, enthusiastic to try new things and share new learning and discoveries. I believe that with an iPad and Osmo system, enthusiasm and creativity will be enhanced.
