Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My caring Digital Arts students encounter hurdles that are out of their control, like limited financial resources and a variety of home languages. These hard-working students come to class daily wanting to learn digital arts and animation skills using current 21st century technology.
All these responsible children qualify for a free breakfast and lunch daily.
My friendly Digital Arts students are eager to learn how math and art can express creative ideas using digital media but are not always provided the essentials to support their efforts.
My Project
We are requesting wireless presenters, solid state drives, a hard drive, fast processors and related technology that will provide and extend support for continued student access to the digital design process students use to produce and share their projects that blend art with mathematical concepts.
This technology will support students' ability to integrate math with technology to create digital art projects.
This technology will allow students to create art with tools that use mathematics, such as, parametric equation modeling of 3D images during the design and rendering of animation segments. They will be able to make their mathematically based animation and digital images quickly without significant storage or processing limitations. They will be able to transfer quickly their mathematically based animations for publishing and sharing.
