My Students

They are many and they are mighty. These learners have a HUGE appetite for learning. These eager minds are hungry, with hands at the ready, and their energy is flaring

We are a school rich in diversity and personality.

Each day we learn from each other and our world. Together we begin to understand how to respect ourselves, others, and the places we share. Only time will tell where each year will take us. Be prepared to watch these learners soar.

My Project

Many of you have experience in traditional classroom settings. Desks reigned supreme. You had your spot in a row or some configuration and you did your work in your seat. With your support, I would like to move past this.

These six-leaf tables allow us to move past what we have known previously and move towards a classroom culture of community-driven learning.

These tables promote collaboration, conversation, and teamwork.

My classroom environment doesn't allow for the seating of yesteryear. I expect my students to work alongside their peers, take part in each other's learning, and aid their classmates in the understanding of information while strengthening their own.
