This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are working hard to master the California Common Core Standards. They have informational knowledge of baseball, soccer, and basketball. Due to a lack of materials they have been unable to play these sports during P.E. time. Please help my students achieve their P.E. goals.

My sixth grade students are a hardworking group.

They truly strive to "keep it positive" in the learning environment. Most of the students are from low income families. Despite the lack of materials, students remain interested in each sport we have studied.

My Project

The sports equipment will be used by students during the Physical Education segment of our day. They will play team sports now that the have learned and reported on soccer, baseball, and basketball. They will put the game rules they have read about and put them into practice.

Your donation will allow students to become physically stronger and more adept at playing soccer, baseball, and basketball by providing the materials required to play each sport.

Without these materials, students will not have the opportunity to experience the hands-on knowledge of each of these sports.
