The purpose of our Varsity Baseball program is to develop and educate student-athletes to their fullest potential academically and athletically. Each player is involved in the community, school and in the baseball program. Many of our Varsity players are dual enrolled college students and we have seniors that are in the top 10 of their graduating classes! Our athletes are proud to be a Rogers City Huron and give 100% effort on and off the baseball field. Our baseball players are encouraged and motivated to improve discipline and dedication in order to develop a variety of physical skills in the varsity sport.

This quote is a representation of our baseball players. We may not win every game or claimed any state titles, but we will never give up until we get there! We want to build our program into the very best program not only for this year but for our future Hurons. Our boys know that we need a combination of physical power, speed, knowledge, mental endurance, and unity to not only build a better competitive team but a stronger baseball program.
My Project
This project will provide essential headgear and safety fencing for our baseball players. The headgear and safety fencing was thoughtfully chosen. The coaching staff took time in choosing what equipment would fit best for our team. They looked at safety but also looked at durability. The baseballs requested and baseball tee will be used with the safety netting and helmets to help with the training of our players. The equipment is lightweight enough that it can be moved and taken to area games and tournaments to offer onsite practice. The equipment requested is extremely durable, providing years of use for future Huron baseball players.
