My students are most engaged when interactive technology is used to enhance their learning. My goal this year is for my students to thrive after using technology in a variety of ways to include team collaboration and practice with concepts learned in class.
Our school district serves students that come from over 50 different countries.
Despite their various backgrounds, they all have one thing in common. They are always striving to be better and always willing to put in the extra effort it takes to "Work Hard to Get Smart", our school slogan. They are hardworking, but sometimes need a little push or added motivation.
This year my class will have a major focus on team building and class building to make everyone feel welcome and included. In addition, I want all students to have a voice and be present in their learning.
Students will use the Breakout Edu boxes to practice the skills and concepts learned in class in a fun interactive way that also allows for teams to work together solving clues.
They're building experience will not only be creative but challenging as well. Students will get an opportunity to work with their peers in solving games and codes to unlock their box. The best part is this kit can and will be used in all subject areas.
