Help me give my students listening centers! These will support literacy through hearing, seeing, and doing! The third grade bundle will help to support every learner in my class.
I am a third grade teacher who has the pleasure of learning alongside 25 amazing students! They have such a drive to learn and to thrive. My students come from diverse backgrounds and are enrolled in a Title 1 school. I am excited to help prepare my 3rd graders for the upper grades and help them to begin to become independent learners. Because I am newer to teaching, I lack the resources so many of my experienced peers have--although I will not let this affect my students. I plan to work with my grade level to ensure the best possible atmosphere for my students! My students are eager to learn, excited to create, and very ambitious. They are constantly collaborating with their peers while also finding time to work on their individual goals. We call ourselves "Team 12" for we all work towards the same goal of overall success for the entire class.
My Project
This amazing set will inspire my students to love reading! The All-in-one CD player with along with the headphones will allow 8 students to simultaneously have access to the literature. Hearing the words being read while following along in the text will strengthen my readers. The Lakeshore Third Grade Bundle will allow access to each student at their level while giving students the opportunity to discuss what they are learning. I would plan to use this amazing tool during independent workshop time and allow students to find a genre that is of interest to them to help spark a love for reading. Due to the varied subject matter in the bundle, students can openly explore topics and genres that they may have not otherwise dove into. I am so excited to see how this ignites imagination as well as confidence.
