Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our wonderful school is a charming, tight-knit, neighborhood school that has educated generations of children and their families.
The population of our school is rich in diversity, however, we are a 100% free & reduced lunch site.
We do our very best to provide a warm and inviting environment for our students.
In my 6th grade classroom, I hope to nourish and create life-long learners. "Teachnology" is the way of the future! The use of technology in the classroom drastically increases student engagement.
My Project
Today's Gen Z Learners have been born and raised on technology. They don't even know what life was like before cell phones, tablets, and the internet! Unfortunately, not all students can afford to utilize these essential tools for learning in the 21st century.
Student engagement is exponentially increased by the use of technology in the classroom and by donating to this project, you will allow students without access to the latest technology to keep in step with their peers in more affluent areas.
