This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Did you ever wish you close your eyes and transport yourself anywhere in the world?

My students are Spanish speaking English Language Learners who come from diverse backgrounds and very limited means.

Most of them do not own a computer and only have access to the Internet at the local library. They are enthusiastic about learning and enjoy the various experiences the internet provides.

My Project

If our class had an LCD projector, I could make full use of the resources I have available to me, to ensure their success. I can fly them across the African Plains when we study wild animals or guide them on a virtual tour of the Metropolitan Museum when we study treasures. These virtual trips will further enhance their learning experience.

I'm in the education field because I believe I have the power to make a difference.

With your donation, you too will have the chance to make a difference. This project will open the doors to my students imaginations and take them to places they may not have the opportunity to visit in person. The sky is the limit. Please help me help them soar!
