My Students

Becoming educated is a lifelong process. It can be hard and frustrating at times, but it can also be incredibly exciting and enriching.

My Kindergarten class consists of 18 fun-loving, excited little learners that come from various backgrounds.

Some have very supportive families and are already reading while others don't know their ABCs. I have students with autism, ADHD, and some with just plain wiggles! These 5 and 6 year olds are full of energy and full of life. I love to watch them grow and learn all while having fun!

My Project

Coming back from winter break, my class will be going virtual for an unknown period of time. This breaks my heart as my students seem to be farther behind academically this year due to their first elementary school experience being online.

I am hoping to make virtual a lot more engaging this time to improve and increase student attention and focus to ultimately help increase their academic achievement.

I have seen and heard about some amazing apps and programs that teachers have used during virtual learning. Most ideas seem to work best with Apple computers/devices. Therefore, I am asking for donations to purchase a MacBook in order to incorporate more exciting and differentiated learning opportunities for my students.
