My Students

I have 20 amazing students from four different grades with very different personalities and needs. Everyday these children come in ready to work and learn. Their personalities have brightened my life and push me to become a stronger teacher.

These students are creative and unique who have brilliant young minds and imaginations and are eager to learn.

Meeting those needs has become increasingly more challenging without proper technology. Many of my students use technology to complete assignments and further their learning. They are able to focus more of their thoughts and ideas and not their spelling or grammar when writing.

My Project

By having two Chromebooks within my classroom, my students are able to use different apps and educational websites to help support their learning. They are able to use speech to text technology which allows them to focus more on their thoughts and ideas when writing and then use editing skills to complete their writing assignments. In addition, my students are able to use different educational websites to help with math facts, reading and reading comprehension. The Chromebooks would allow my students to complete tasks on their own with little support which will help them gain independence inside not only my classroom but their general education classroom.
