Our school strives to develop leaders and learners ready for the world. I teach and develop relationships with a wide variety of students in my classroom. I am excited to meet my upcoming third graders who are ready to learn and grow! These students are in a Title I school and are working very hard to receive the education they deserve. With their eagerness to explore and discover, my goal as their teacher is to prepare them for a world where lifelong learning breeds success!
My Project
Technology has not just woven it’s way into our lives, but has transformed the way classrooms look today. More and more students are coming to school with devices in their backpacks. This has fostered the idea that students could use and learn from their own devices at school. This year, my school is becoming a BYOD, or Bring Your Own Device school. With that, comes students who will not have the tools they need to succeed. My goal is to raise funds for additional classroom resources so that each of my students have a variety of tools to choose from in their individualized learning.
