My students need access to technology in order for me to enhance their education. They work so hard everyday despite their disabilities and I think that with technology I can help them soar!

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My class is made up of 12 amazing, eager to learn special needs students. The students always come to school excited each morning with smiles on their faces ready to learn. Many of the students do not have much, but always seem grateful for what they do have and anything I provide to them. Their classroom is a place where I want them to feel safe and comfortable and be a place where they look forward to coming.
My students do not let their disabilities define them and work hard at every task I give them.
I want to give back to them since they give so much to me!
With Chromebooks I can help to reach all my students' needs through technology. Many of my students have physical disabilities and limitations that make it difficult for them to write. With Chromebooks not only can they work on research projects and expanding their knowledge, but students can also use it to work on their writing skills.
With Chromebooks, I can also help my students work towards the next step in their life journey of obtaining a job.
They will be able to research job requirements, write resumes and find current job listings. Having this direct access to technology in the classroom will also help foster a sense of independence and success for my students. With Chromebooks, the teaching possibilities are endless!
