My Students

Our classroom consists of a group of energetic 3rd graders who have a wide variety of learning styles.

Our classroom is made up of students who are gifted and talented, who are English as a second language learners, and special education students. Each year, my students are always excited to learn and love to try new strategies and approaches to learning. They love trying new things and anytime we are able to incorporate technology into their learning, it just adds to their excitement.

My Project

Students will be able to use the Chromebook to research topics throughout the year. Having access to this technology will help the students dig deeper into those topics that interest them. Students will be able to find informational text online that can be used to help them become experts on different subjects. Students will work cooperatively with each other to research various topics and present their findings to the class.

Having a Chromebook in the classroom will give the students the opportunity to research topics and work in cooperative groups.

It will also provide them with the social skills that they will need as they grow older, as they will be presenting their research to their classmates.
