My students need an Apple iPad for our classroom. Technology is so important for students to have and use. I could also use the iPad in lesson planning.

My Students

Technology is such a big part of a first graders life. They are used to watching television, playing video games, using iPads, iPhones, etc. I want my classroom to have the best technology resources available.

I have an amazing group of first graders this year.

They are so eager to learn. We have a wonderful school with teachers and administrators who really care about students and their education. I want to give my students the best possible education with lessons using technology as much as possible. We are fortunate to have a Promethean board in our classroom. An iPad would just enhance their learning on the Promethean board. The apps that are available on an iPad are incredible learning tools for first graders.

My Project

The iPad that I have chosen would really add to the way my students learn. It would give them the opportunity to increase their reading and math skills. I could also use it in lesson planning and whole group lessons. They could also work with a partner on spelling words and sentences. An iPad is a great tool to use in the classroom. My students would be so excited to have an iPad! And so would I!
