Help me give my students a Chromebook for access to more educational opportunities through the use of technology that works quickly and efficiently to meet their educational needs and help them succeed.
Third grade is an exciting year! It is a pivotal time in a child's education. They are still young enough to want to come to school each day, yet old enough to be independent readers, writers and thinkers. It was in 3rd grade that I knew I wanted to become a teacher. I want to give my students the same opportunity to discover what they love to do, to nurture their passions and help them succeed.
My students are inquisitive, motivated and enthusiastic about life and school.
They are active and engaged in their learning process. My students come from low-income households. Most of them receive free or reduced breakfast and lunch. The classroom is a safe place, an environment where they can thrive, not just survive. My students deserve every opportunity to help them succeed in their educational journey.
My Project
This Chromebook will allow me to offer my students more educational opportunities that are productive and efficient. Students will be able to have lessons cast on a screen from my computer where they will be able to interact more with the material that is presented.
My students will be able to learn more through the use of this technology as the internet provides endless learning opportunities.
This laptop will help bridge the gap between the classroom and the outside world beyond where they live. As they learn more, they will succeed and be excited about school. Students who are excited about learning are motivated to be successful.
