Help me give my students an interactive and multisensory learning experience with a classroom speakers, smooth presentations, and interactive activities,
My students are newcomers to Boston in grades 9 through 12. They are diligent, committed to their learning, and supportive and collaborative classmates for each other. As English Learners, they are learning their way around a new city, a new language, as well as academic subjects and they certainly rise to the challenge!
I have been so impressed with how they bring joy to the classroom by not only demonstrating huge commitment to learning English and history, but also by supporting each other as a community of learners.
They are driven learners, but match their drive compassion and humor. When new students joins our class and school, which happens throughout the year, they unfailingly welcoming and look out for their newest community member. I feel so lucky to be part of such a wonderful community of learners. Please help me give more to my students who give so much of themselves.
My Project
Help me deliver history in exciting, multi-media, 21st-century learning formats. With the wireless remote, I can move around the classroom to work with students while still delivering a multimedia presentation. The speakers ensure that videos and audio clips are loud and clear, making sure learning can be accessed by all students. The post-its help me run interactive activities around the classroom for students to collaborate and practice their writing skills.
Especially for English Learners, high quality sound and diversity of presentation formats (video, slides, document projection), are all tools that can bring learning to life and make information more comprehensible.
