I have a class full of 20 second grade students. In my second grade classroom you would see that it is filled with eager learners who come in each day ready to learn in new and different ways.
I love being part of a classroom where the students feel like school is their second home and a place where they treat each other like family.
In my second grade classroom every student is valued and brings something special to our room.
Teach Your Heart Out is a conference featuring over 20 teachers and speakers. It is an opportunity to learn some new and innovative classroom strategies, and cutting edge research based educational techniques.
My students deserve the very best from me and I believe this conference will give me some great resources to keep my teaching fresh and exciting.
This in turn will lead to my students staying engaged and excited to learn! Through this training, I hope to learn new strategies to implement in my own classroom to build a strong classroom culture of encouragement, kindness, engagement, and perseverance. Teaching is a hard job, but the kids are so worth it.
