My Project
My students need books in the art room to help with art literacy and arts integration in reading. My students will use the books to help their literacy skills through connecting art to storytelling. These books will also help teach young students about art history as well as be a stepping stone to their creative process. I have requested books like The Game of Sculpture, A Day With No Crayons, and The Most Magnificent Thing.
Donations will help improve my classroom because the more students can read and expand their knowledge, the more prepared they will be for life outside the classroom.
