My Project
I love the innocence and resilience I see in these precious children everyday. These kiddos have been through the unimaginable in their lives at such a young age and we have the opportunity to create a place of love and belonging where they can feel safe. These items help create an environment that feels special, loving and safe to these children. All of these items help create a sense of hope and for some kiddos it is the only place they feel loved and successful. For example, the flexible seating options help provide choices for the students to help be successful in the classroom if they are struggling at their desk! The seating options create a unique space for the kids to spend time together to work on social emotional skills. The social emotional activities help support the kids in emotional and sensory learning. These items support in emotional regulation, which intimately helps learning occur for these students.
