This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Promoting healthy lifestyles has become a priority at our school. A weightroom has been upgraded to help motivate classes and students to set goals and obtain a healthier lifestyle. We are a Title One school and our students need help in understanding the importance of healthy living and healthy eating.

Our weightroom is still missing some key items to help our students achieve their goals.

Students are more motivated to participate now and are trying to change unhealthy lifestyle habits to healthier living styles. These items would help to continue to improve our weightroom.
