Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are the sweetest kiddos I have ever met and are all eager to learn despite these uncertain times. My students are told daily that they can do anything! I believe in them! 89% of the students at our school are economically disadvantaged but 100% of them have the willingness to learn and be the best version of themselves. I see it everyday in the faces of my sweet second graders.
When you walk into our classroom the first thing you see are the words "This is Our Happy Place" my students believe that!
I believe that! My students deserve to have a classroom with supplies to help them flourish in there happy place. Please help me to continue to shine the light on my students and help them be the best that they can be with all the need tools to do so!
My Project
As we start our second semester of school as you can imagine supplies is very low. Having the appropriate amount of supplies for my students is key in setting that foundation for learning. As a teacher it is impossible to keep up with the demand. My sweet students deserves to not have limits for their learning.
Supplies anywhere from color ink to a pencil is critical in having a successful classroom.
I look forward to supplying my classroom room with colored ink to continue to have engaging lessons and to be able to provide my student with key supplies to motivate their learning environment both academically and safely with cleaning wipes and kids mask to keep them safe and happy.
