Teaching During COVID-19 Has Me Daydreaming About Classroom Supplies
Help me give my students seat cushions, multiplication cards, dry erase boards, markers, erasers and a portable dry erase board to use all over the class.
My students are a unique group of individuals who treat each other with mutual respect and kindness even on their worst days. There is a culture of care within the classroom where we are a family during the school day. Now that we are working in a different environment with virtual learning, I am learning a whole new way of teaching. While this is a new normal, my students and myself have embraced the change.
My students are from a small community in a big city and work very hard to gain the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
They are a great group of kid who deserve the very best in life and what it has to offer.
My Project
The materials I have requested would make a HUGE difference in my classroom and the students' learning. The use of dry erase boards,markers and erasers will keep the students engaged and beneficial to showing work. The portable boards allows movement around the classroom. Multiplication cards help with fact practice and the cushions allow for flexible seating.
All the materials requested, would make all the difference in learning, not only for comfort, but for lesson practice, engaged learning, and utilizing space by me being portable while teaching.
Every student in current classes and future classes would be able to benefit and utilize these materials for years to come. Please, lets make this possible
