This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are my purpose for continuing to push through the uncertain times we live in. They are dealing with loneliness and depression at which I try to engage them personally to capture their here and now but their future.

My Project

The supplies that are being requested will assist my students with their daily lessons. With a simple task of needing to hear through your technology, equipment is essential for them to respond and engage in the lesson. During the hybrid/virtual learning, students need to be active and the teacher needs to capture their attention at every second of the allotted time. When the teacher’s technology lags or freezes, the attention span of the students freezes along with it or they become occupied doing something else. Engaging my students within the lesson is a must. We are a Title I school district, therefore, our students are without equipment needed to succeed. If I am able to assist some students with the materials, it will allow them to feel relief and engage in their lessons.
