My Students

Our students are highly motivated, intelligent and bright. They absolutely love technology, which is not readily available in a Title I school.

I want to bring the creativity of 3D printing to my classroom!

How they will use it:

1. As a learning tool to introduce high school students to CAD drawing and design.

2. To help our students who play Dungeons and Dragons and create their own characters on the printer.

3. To help students in our culinary center to create new tools.

4. As a tool to help students create on the fly in the classroom!

I have been teaching English as a new language for the past 3 years and English and Mathematics are two of the essential skills that my students need to succeed in life.

I also run the Dungeons and Dragons and Gaming club as a volunteer.

My Project

If we are lucky enough to have donors support this project, we will:

1.

We are already teaching kids how to use CAD drawings. With this printer they will be able to fully realize their projects.

2. We will be able to create specialized tooling for our culinary program.

3. Students who code will be able to use the printer to fully realize their creations as well.

This project will reach the entire school. It will be offered to over 300 students who will realize their full potential when they can put their ideas into something that is truly tangible!
