Ever since distance learning began, I have been teaching my students over video chat and through the use of Google Classroom. This has been a unique experience for us all.
As a class, grade level, and school we have had to adapt to using digital materials to enhance our learning.
My students have learned so much about using Google Slides, Google Docs, etc. As a teacher, I have learned how to make my lessons digital and editable for my students. This process has challenged all of us and we are better off for it.
My Project
Since distance learning began, my team and I have learned a great deal about making digital and editable materials for our students to use in Google Classroom. We are thinking ahead to the fall and want to be prepared for our new group of fourth graders. We are asking for 3 $100 gift cards to Teachers Pay Teachers, one gift card for each teacher on my team. These gift cards will enable us to purchase pre-made editable materials for our students in all academic areas.
By not having to create all of our own materials, we will have more time to do what we love - TEACH!
We are hoping to purchase materials at both a 3rd and 4th grade level to help fill in any gaps that distance learning may have caused.
